So glad I have some neices to get all that pinkness out of my system :) I enjoyed sewing this skirt, although it took forever to sew all those strips! I did learn how to adjust the tension on my machine to help create all those gathers.
A little confession: I had to use Lachlan to see how big to make the waistband....he was happy enough to try it on when I explained who it was for and that I needed his help. When I was measuring it though he told me to close my eyes and not to tell daddy! I'm sure I didn't damage him too much ;)
